This organization is under investigation for spending, according to reputable sources, less than 1% of its donated money on rescued dogs. They have lost their charity status. While they named themselves People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, their mandate is actually to eliminate all animals except those that live in the wild. They do not believe in owning dogs and or any farm animals.
