Sonrisas Chicadoro Annual Puppy Picnic

We had a wonderful day for the Puppy Picnic. Perfect temperature, perfect breeze and perfect people and Havanese.

Thanks to all who could come. I enjoy seeing all the puppies again and appreciate so much being kept up-to-date on how they are developing.

More Havanese and water

Here's the photographer's (Julie Verge) dog, Trixie. We're not too sure what breed Trixie is but she definitely doesn' t like the water. I want to make sure though that if she did accidentally fall in she knows where the steps are to get out.

I always take all the dogs into the pool at least twice to make sure that a) they know it is water and 2) how to get out of the pool.

Next time I will take the dogs in and point them away from the steps and if they turn around and head toward the steps then I know they have learned their pool steps lesson.

Havanese and Water

Summer is finally here

Here's Fred. He doesn' t seem to mind the water and I think in another week or so he'll be quite enthusiastic. Lusa seemed to want to investigate it more as well.

Chester and Willow

These Havanese just keep getting smarter and smarter.  Here's Chester making sure that Clark hits just the right notes!
