Here's the photographer's (Julie Verge) dog, Trixie. We're not too sure what breed Trixie is but she definitely doesn' t like the water. I want to make sure though that if she did accidentally fall in she knows where the steps are to get out.I always take all the dogs into the pool at least twice to make sure that a) they know it is water and 2) how to get out of the pool.
Next time I will take the dogs in and point them away from the steps and if they turn around and head toward the steps then I know they have learned their pool steps lesson.
