George managed to come in third place in the first obedience trial despite my messing up on two of the stations. In the second trial he came in first so hope to have my wits about me tomorrow since he only needs one more qualifying score to get his advanced rally title.
The Havanese really are a pleasure to work with and train. Love this breed!

Here is the photo that was used for some of the t-shirts at the Havanese National Specialty in Minnesota this year.

George and Agility
Hit "Older Posts" to see all the latest puppy pictures. They may scroll off the page.
This is not George's fastest time as it was unciviized heat yesterday. , For a dog with minimal training really, he is doing extremely well. He can now work up to 20 feet away from me, as long as he can see me. He still isn't comfortable with running way ahead of me, but that will come. Overall I am extremely pleased with his progress esp in this heat. The entire On Target team did extremely well plus they are a fantastic group of people. What a great bunch to train with.

Tomorrow the puppies are seven weeks
I don't know where the time has gone but the puppies are growing up so fast. I am amazed that these puppies are almost toilet trained. They will go to the bathroom almost immediately when we take them outside and when they are in the house they never miss the PishPads.
Lauren, who I thought was going to be quiet is developing quite the attitude and is right in there with everyone else. She was actually the bravest one about the stairs.
I wanted to take individual video of each one walking and standing, but all they did this afternoon was run under the tree and lay there. To hot in the sun.

Personalities
Personalities are really beginning to emerge.
Tommy is the adventurer and the curious one. He has climbed out of the x-pen four times even though we put an extra three inches on it. His upper body strength is unbelievable - he simply grabs the top of the board and pulls himself up and over. He also was the first to up and down the stairs to our back doggy area and at only five weeks of age.
Laura is the pretty princess who likes to sit back and watch all the other dogs get into trouble. She loves being held and petted. She would look gorgeous in the show ring.
Lexie, Emily and Artsie are very similar, they love to play with each other, but especially with people and the more playful the better. Nothing shy about any of these girls. Lexie and Emily would be very flashy in the showring as well.
Fredith.... well, if there's nothing going on, she'll' start something. She's afraid of nothing and is a very busy girl. If anyone wants to do competitive agility or rally then this is the dog for you. She's always the first to the food bowl. She's Willard's favorite.
Frank is a lot like Lexie and Emily but like so many of the male Havanese always has time for a cuddle. He's going to be a lot like his uncle George. If anyone thinks they might like to have their dog shown, this little boy is going to be georgeous!

Individual Shots of the Group of Seven
I swear my camera eats photos. I know I took pictures of all seven puppies, but where they went I do not know. Can you identify each of the above? Hope to have video up soon.
