Lusa - Sonrisas Mi Chica

Here is another picture of Lusa while we are waiting for the picture of Willow's championship. Yes, Dean, the show photographer promised he would have it ready for Monday and it wasn't - so dissappointing!

Lusa continues to be a delight, she is so full of vitality and life and extremely intelligent. She now has lost all her baby teeth, even canines, on her own and it looks like she is going to have all fourty-two teeth including pre-molars. While it makes no difference to a dog if they are missing pre-molars I just prefer that they be there.

CH BG's Salix Lapponum

On Friday, Willow became CH BG's Salix Lapponum by winning Best of Winners and Best of Opposite under judge Linda Kraft. We don't have the pictures yet but hopefully by Monday.

Here is Willow - BG's Salix Lapponum expertly shown my Marlene Ness. Willow is doing extremely well in the show world, placing at the National Specialty at only six months of age. Since then she has won two Best Puppy in Group and is well on her way to her Canadian Championship

Happy Holidays

As luck would have it both Opal and Ali have come into heat at the same time, and much earlier than expected. Considering the weather here, and in Seattle, I will not being flying to Washington any time soon, so it looks as though Opal's litter will be the one and only litter this spring. Providing that there are no more storms next week we will go ahead with the planned Opal/Cosmo breeding which means that the puppies will arrive in early March. After that Opal will have at least a year of R n R.
